At the time, Martin was the city’s most recognized artist. Zule's free flowing pastels and stunning paintings tend to feature female subjects with men playing a low key but chivalric role. In 1962 Zule moved with her family to Israel and has remained there, painting her memories of childhood and the allurement of Caminitoin.
